Vous et nul autre

‎"Tell me, sir, what is a butterfly?"
"It's what you are meant to become. It flies with beautiful wings and joins the earth to heaven. It drinks only nectar from the flowers and carries the seeds of love from one flower to another. Without butterflies, the world would soon have few flowers.”

I just want to hug everyone who feels like they let their parents down or like they’re useless or terrible or unwanted and say no, no, I’m proud of you, I understand, I’m so proud of you and your parents should be but I also know how you feel if they’re not and I know it hurts and you deserve better and I love you.

Whether you’re having a bad day or a good day, there is never a bad time to hear some motivational words from David Tennant

"I sometimes see a shortcoming in myself, how little patience or understanding I have for many people in the way they act. I am able to see the fragility in some, but I only have so much time to wade through their manipulations and traps and draining behaviour."

"In the summer
I stretch out on the shore
And think of you
Had I told the sea
What I felt for you,
It would have left its shores,
Its shells,
Its fish,
And followed me."

Anonymous asked: Hibiscus, Oxlip, Magnolia

Hibiscus: Did you ever play an instrument? If so what?

Never, seriously. Though I wish I had. I had a brilliant Science teacher who told me to take up guitar when I was very young, as it would be priceless during my teen years and the years after that as well. I really should have listened to far more that he told me.

Oxlip: Would you ever get into a long distance relationship?

This is so, incredibly difficult, it would depend on quite a few things. Namely, the nature of the relationship, and the likely nature of the relationship in the future. I’m quite wary of co-dependence, and thus a bit of space wouldn’t really bother me hugely, but that space being used in order to avoid realities of the relationship and drag it out more than it need be definitely would. I usually think, for me to get into a long-distance relationship, I’d have to be aware of and secure in the way that the relationship functioned when we were together, as well as secure about the way it would function when we were apart, and that we would eventually be ‘back together’. It would require someone I was very well-matched and compatible with, and I doubt it would suit the type of situation where there were trust, or jealousy or honesty problems, for me.

Magnolia: Favorite kind of candy?

I’m quite happy with anything that is very sour, or that has a moreish and homey taste to it. I love baked goods.
